How it works

Three minutes. One number.
No hiding.

STEP 01

Watch the play develop

Each situation animates on a tactics board — the same abstraction pro analysts use, so you're judged on the read, not the pixels.

STEP 02

Make your read in 12 seconds

Pass, press, hold, switch — four options, one best decision. The clock is part of the test: elite players decide before the ball arrives.

FAQ

Quick answers

Is it free?

Yes — the assessment is free and you can retake it daily. A pro tier with full film-room drills, squad benchmarking, and training plans is coming.

How is the score calculated?

You start at 100. Every read is scored on accuracy and decision speed — a correct call inside the first few seconds earns more than a slow one. The scale runs 60–140 and the average fan lands around 104.

Why a tactics board instead of match footage?

Because it's how the game is actually taught. Boards strip away the noise — kit colours, camera angles, star names — and isolate the read itself. It's the same abstraction pro analysts and coaching badges use, and it means every situation is judged purely on football intelligence.

Do I need to have played?

No. The test measures how you read the game, not how you kick a ball. Plenty of top scorers have never played above park level — and some who have get humbled.

How do I improve my score?

Retake daily. Each situation comes with a coach's explanation of the right read, so every run is a film session. Most testers gain 10–20 points inside a week.

Think you read the game?
